I offer Traditional Brush and Modern Rotary Chimney Sweeping options for Log Burner, Open Fire, Multifuel Stove, Rayburn, Aga, Large Inglenook, Pellet and Biomass appliances.

How often should my chimney be swept?

In the UK, the recommended frequency for chimney sweeping depends on the type of fuel you burn:

Wood: Sweep at least twice a year

Smokeless fuels: Sweep at least once a year

Oil or gas: Sweep at least once a year

Coal: Sweep at least twice a year

You should have your chimney swept more often if you use your fireplace regularly.

What does a Chimney Sweep include?

Visual Inspection of the appliance and immediate surrounding area
Traditional brush or modern rotary sweep performed in accordance with industry standards, including where possible a visual confirmation of brush at chimney exit
A smoke check to ensure appliance is drawing correctly
An Insurance approved NACS Sweep Certificate issued on succesful completion
